For the coursework I was happy with how it all turned out. For the practical tasks I made sure to explain what we had to do and how I did each one and how I felt about the end result. I also made sure to screenshot all the tasks I did whilst doing them, so I could use them in explaining how I did each task. For the scene analysis I chose to do 4 different scenes, 2 for visual and 2 for audio. I spent a while doing these as I wanted to make sure there was enough written for each convention.
For the final video I was with Paulson and Ryan, we chose to do script 1. For the pre production my roles were location recce and shot list. I was happy with how both turned out, however there a few shots we didn't end up doing. For the roles whilst filming I was the camera man and director. I was somewhat happy with how my shots turned out, however a couple of them weren't good because of the tripod we had for the first shoot. Before filming we recording all the lines and did any foley needed in a recording room incase the audio captured whilst filming wasn't any good. The first things we filmed were establishing shots around the college. After this on the next day we then filmed shots of Paulson (who was acting) in the room we were using to film in. We then starting filming parts of the script. On the first day of filming we managed to get halfway through the script. The next day of filming we managed to get through the rest of the script. After this I started editing on Premier Pro. The first bit of editing I did was compile all the clips together without audio. I then added all of Paulson's audio that was recorded before the filming. After this I added Ryan's audio in place of where it should be as a placeholder as I wanted to edit it later. I then added the sound affects the we created in the studio, including footsteps and the noise that Paulson's character hears. After adding all this I then added background noise so it wasn't completely silent for the whole video. I then opened Adobe Audition to edit Ryan's dialogue to make it seem like he was talking on the phone. To do this I used what I learned in the post production fx task, where I added the rack affect the audio that allowed me to changed the frequency to make it sound like it was coming from a phone. I then added all of Ryan's audio into the final video. After this I exported the video onto youtube.
